This notice explains how Fortensa Limited ("Fortensa", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through this website, fortensapartners.com. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Fortensa Limited is the data controller for information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales (company no. 17408761), with our registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through the forms on this website or by email:
- Contact form: your name, organisation, email address and message.
- Speaking enquiries: your name, email address, event and organisation, date and location, preferred format, audience size and anything you tell us about your audience.
- Partner with us: your name, email address, the type of partner you are, your LinkedIn or website link, and details of your expertise and availability.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss how we might work together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- For speaking enquiries, to check availability and arrange the engagement, on the same basis.
- For partner applications, to consider you for suitable engagements and contact you when one matches your expertise, based on our legitimate interest in building our network of specialists.
We do not sell your information, use it for automated decision-making, or add you to a marketing list without your agreement.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and our email. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Formspree, which receives form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. Formspree is based in the United States; transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website securely. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address to serve pages and protect the site from abuse.
- Our email provider, which stores the messages we receive.
We may also share information if we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and related correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the engagement and our legal and accounting obligations. Partner applications are kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Our fonts and images are served from our own website rather than third parties. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary security measures to protect the site, which do not require your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To make a request, email info@fortensapartners.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
